CDA Board Gives Approval to Modernization of Capital hospital

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board has approved the modernization of the Capital Hospital and allocated 27 kanals of land for the construction of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Science and Technology (SZABIT) University.

According to the details, the CDA Board and Chairman made several significant decisions, including the approval of federal maternity and paternity rules within the CDA and the authorization of medical insurance policies for employees. Additionally, they formally approved the allotment of 27 kanals in Sector H8 for SZABIT University. Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa pointed out the importance of completing ongoing development projects in Islamabad on time and with high quality. He instructed the Engineering and Works Department to uphold highest standards and avoid any kind of negligence.

The meeting also focused on the under-construction Park Road widening project. Chairman Randhawa insisted on its swift completion without compromising quality, prioritizing public convenience. A proposal for a partial inauguration of the Park Road project within the next two weeks was rejected. Instead, the chairman directed that one or two lanes be opened for public use, with a full inauguration planned only after the project’s 100% completion.
