Rawalpindi: The Punjab Small Dams Organization (PSDO) has made a important decision by approving six mini-dams in Rawalpindi Division, by allocating PKR 15 million for construction. It is a big step forward in the construction industry. Moreover, the organisation has also approved the building of Kotli Sattian Dam in addition to these smaller dams.
The start of the topographic survey, which will finish within two months, shows that the dam construction is about to begin. These dams which are going to be started by May or June 2024 will cover 20,000 acres and will supply vital water for Islamabad and Rawalpindi residents. These mini dams will also include new entertainment areas.
