Visa Fee Waiver: The Pakistani government has eliminated visa fees for travelers from 126 nations, The purpose is to to attract business and leisure visitors.
Online Visa Applications: An online system will allow for the issuance of business and tourist visas within 24 hours.This online system will make the process faster.
E-Gates Installation: To further streamline the travel experience, e-gates will be set up at Gwadar Port and nine major airports, starting with Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.
Facilitating Sikh Pilgrims: A special visa-on-arrival category will be created for Sikh pilgrims with third-country passports . This special visa can provide easy access for religious tourism.
Implementation: The Interior Ministry and the Foreign Office will revise the implementation of these policies, with a dashboard at the Interior Ministry to monitor the online visa system.
Economic Benefits: The cost of processing visas will be offset by the expected increase in foreign exchange from tourism activities
Special Courts and MoU with Denmark
Special and Banking Courts: The federal cabinet has also approved the establishment of special courts for handling banking cases, enhancing the judicial system’s efficiency.
MoU with Denmark: An agreement with Denmark will promote public-private partnerships in various sectors, including logistics, sustainable growth, and alternative energy.
