An airline is a company that transports passengers and cargo via airplanes. They typically operate scheduled flights between different destinations, though some also offer charter services for more specific needs. Airlines need to be licensed by government aviation bodies to ensure they meet safety standards. There are two main types of airlines:
Scheduled airlines: These airlines operate flights on a set timetable between specific destinations. This allows passengers to easily book flights in advance and plan their trips. Examples include Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Qatar Airways.
Charter airlines: These airlines offer flights on a more flexible basis, often tailored to specific requests from individuals or groups. They may be used for business trips, group vacations, or transporting cargo.
