PCB Allocated Rs7.7 Billion for Gaddafi Stadium Renovation for ICC Champions 2025

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allocated PKR 7.7 billion for the renovation of Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, as part of preparations for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, according to a news report from 

The total budget for upgrading stadiums in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi is PKR 12.8 billion. Gaddafi Stadium will revamp , refurbish and renovate, including the construction of a new pavilion, upgraded seating, installation of modern LED screens, and advanced floodlights.

Karachi’s National Bank Stadium is allocated to receive PKR 3.5 billion for similar improvements, while Rawalpindi’s Pindi Stadium will get PKR 1.5 billion. In Rawalpindi stadium, there will be focus on upgrading seatlights and flooding. These investments highlight Pakistan’s commitment to successfully hosting the international cricket tourism of ICC Champions 2025.
