Karachi: Sindh’s Agriculture Minister, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar, has announced the upcoming launch of the Kisan Card scheme in Sindh, aimed at providing solar subsidies to deserving farmers. This initiative is focussed on the department’s commitment to intensifying support for farmers, including improved seeds, fertilizers, and essential facilities to boost agricultural yields and livelihoods.
During a ceremony at the Scout Auditorium, the minister encouraged department employees to strive for excellence and highlighted the importance of raising awareness and supporting farmers. He also acknowledged 26 employees who were promoted after a decade of service.
Secretary of Agriculture Rafeeq Ahmed Buriro reaffirmed the department’s dedication to employee advancement and farmer education.
