CDA Approves Pakistan’s Largest IT Park in Islamabad Sector G-10

Islamabad News: A significant step forward in the city’s technical development has been achieved with the approval of Pakistan’s largest IT park building by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad.

Spanning 3.3 acres in Sector G-10, Islamabad, the proposed IT park has received approval from the CDA, marking a remarkable step forward in the city’s technological-driven growth.

 The park will cover an impressive 100,000 square feet, offering a dynamic workspace for an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 freelancers, startups, and software houses. This development promises to inject vitality into the local economy and propel Islamabad to the forefront of the IT industry.

Operated under a public-private partnership model, Islamabad IT Park is designed to offer customized amenities for freelancers, startups, and small businesses, meeting the changing requirements of the technology sector. By creating a space that encourages collaboration and innovation, the park aims to meet the increasing need for contemporary office spaces and drive innovation in the industry.

Key features of the project include state-of-the-art amenities such as research facilities, conference halls, meeting rooms, and a library. Additionally, designated areas will be reserved for showcasing IT products, fostering collaboration, and nurturing talent within the industry.

Notably, the financing for this ambitious venture will be shouldered entirely by private entities, highlighting the collaborative spirit driving the initiative. After 15 years, operational control of the park will be transferred to the CDA, underscoring a long-term commitment to nurturing Pakistan’s technological infrastructure.
