Lahore: The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ initiative, launched by Punjab’s Finance Secretary Mujahid Sherdil. This government initiative aims to deliver essential government services directly to citizens at their doorsteps.
Facilitators will help with filling out forms, processing payments, and ensuring fast document delivery. Interested individuals can sign up through the ‘Dastak Facilitator Mobile App’ and must meet specific criteria. Faisal Yousaf, Chairman of PITB, emphasised that facilitators will undergo thorough training, with only those scoring 70% or above qualifying.
Citizens can book services via the mobile app, web portal, or helpline. The services are expected to start in Lahore within three to four weeks and will eventually expand to all districts in Punjab. ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ aims to revolutionize public service delivery, making it more accessible, efficient, and convenient for everyone.
