Today is 17th september, Islamic Date of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwaal. Today Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W), Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is being celebrated with immense religious devotion in Pakistan and around the world today. It is the birthday of the Greatest Human Being ever to walk on this planet, our beloved Prophet (S.A.W).
The day started with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and 21-gun salutes in the provincial capitals to pay tribute to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The federal government declared a public holiday, closing all schools, universities, and government offices for the occasion.
Special prayers were held in mosques, asking for the spread of Islam and praying for unity, progress, and the welfare of the Muslim community.
Streets, markets, and buildings across the country are beautifully decorated with lights, banners, and amazing displays in celebration of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH).
