Narowal: The Government of Pakistan has announced the extension of the Kartarpur Corridor agreement with India for an additional five years, according to a recent news of october 2024.
This initiative will ensure continued, uninterrupted access for Sikh pilgrims to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, located in the Narowal district. The agreement, first signed on October 24, 2019, is being extended. This great initiative reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to fostering interfaith harmony and promoting peaceful relations. The Kartarpur Corridor is a unique project, offering visa-free access to Indian pilgrims, allowing them to visit one of the most significant sites in Sikhism.
