In Lahore, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is planning to add cycling lanes on main roads to encourage and promote practice of cycling in the city, as per a report released on May 15.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) met with LDA Director General Tahir Farooq to discuss ways to create cycling lanes in the city. They aim to start with a feasibility study to plan out a complete cycling system.
They also discussed on healthy practices to minimize environmental pollution, make traffic smoother, improve walking areas, and organize parking better along MM Alam Road.
